Mission Accomplished! - phase 5

A few days before move-in, things all looked good. Love the interior window, which gives a unique spatial definition.

Another opening was built out beneath the stairs. It would provide access to the shoe storage that would be created later.

All eight cubbies were tiled with glass mosaic, shimmering under the lighted soffit.

The screen on the right side of the picture covers HVAC closet. The screen was originally a room divider from Crates & Barrel. I bought a floor sample at half of the original price. My contractor built out a track system outside the HVAC closet to hold the divider. The outcome looked great .

The color of the foyer tiles is oliver. To make the patten more interesting, I inserted two lines of glass mosaic which is the same as that for wall cubbies.
